Hey all. Notice anything different? I’ve been holding back on writing on a regular basis because every time I sit down to write I get to thinking of all the crap I have to do to get this page updated properly. Frankly, by the time it’s all said and done, it’s just not worth it the old way.

Seriously, I think you’d be surprised how long it takes to download the last article, cut and paste it into the last archive page, format it correctly in the archive page, write the new article, make sure it’s formatted properly, then upload all these new files. It sounds easy, I know, but it probably takes me a good forty-five minutes if the entry is a quick and easy one, longer if it really takes some thought.

So it’s not the cool Flash site anymore, despite the fact that I really didn’t do anything that took advantage of Flash anyway. And as far as other sites on the web go, this design sucks, but let’s face it - content is king here on Space Monkey. Thoreau didn't have a flashy website and got his point across.

Well, it's taken me a better part of the afternoon to get this all switched over and looking nice, so I'm going to head out for now. However, I have a few ideas up my sleeve that I'll probably be writing about soon - possibly tonight - so be on the lookout.
