5.01.02

Ugh. So. Sore. After a few weeks toiling away at my current weight, I decided I’d better go ahead and start to mix things up as far as my workout regiment goes. So, this week I’ve been concentrating less on the cardio and more on the resistance training. Needless to say I’m sore as hell since the last time I lifted was on March 17. But, it’s a good kinda hurt, ya know? Just tomorrow left and then I can take the rest of the weekend off. Definitely looking forward to that.

Speaking of the weekend – go see Spider-Man.

Not a whole heck of a lot going on this week, really. About the only thing of interest was meeting Ben’s girlfriend, Lori. Yes, she does exist, but I’m still wondering if he simply hired an actress to play a cool, computer geek woman that we’d all like. I guess we’ll learn the truth next time there’s an actor’s strike in Hollywood. Then again, she might not be union, so that would really throw us off. Very clever, Ben Jammin…

Been writing a lot this week. Still working on the final episode of “9 Months” over on The Boundry. It’s at 11 pages thus far and I’m nowhere near done, so if you’re one of the two people who have been reading, please have patience. I will finish it soon. I promise.

Speaking of writing, tonight is my last night of class. Can’t say it’s been an incredibly insightful experience as far as learning about plot structure or characterization, but it has helped to give me a bit more confidence in my writing. Man, I should really spend some time this weekend looking in magazines for some fiction contests to enter. Might be a good Sunday afternoon thing to do while I hang out at the mall waiting to see Spider-Man again. (You should go see Spider-Man, by the way)

Ya know, I could have a pretty sweet weekend lined up if it weren’t for having to work Saturday morning. Friday I’m meeting friends for Hooters and Spider-Man which will probably lead to drinking afterwards. Saturday I have to work in the morning, and will possibly be putting new pads and rotors on my piece of shit car in the afternoon (though, really that could wait until next weekend, too). Sunday looks to be pretty wet and dreary around here, so it’ll make a perfect day to get some writing done and, as I said, possibly see Spider-Man again. (Go see Spider-Man) If it weren’t for that damn overtime work on Saturday, I’d be pretty happy with the weekend. God, I hate my job.

And speaking of my resume, totally changed my mind on the theme for my resume as, well, I can’t really do the theme without some decent photos of myself. So, kicking around a few more ideas as we speak. Will keep you updated.

Well, sadly, it’s been a pretty boring week for me. Just working, ya know? So, go check the movie journal – quite a few new ones added – and check back next week when I’ll surely have a few more things going on. (Go see Spider-Man)
