		<description>Thanks, Gina!  And, yes, we did the entire thing ourselves.  We tore up the old countertop, put down the new plywood and concrete backerboard, glued down the tile, grouted and sealed it.  We even installed the wooden railing that goes along the outside.  We did every little piece ourselves (with a little help from my dad).  It wasn&#039;t too hard, though it was a little nerve-wracking to take on such a big project having never done it before.  We wound up doing some research online and even found a Tile Shoppe chain in our area that did tile laying classes every Saturday morning.  The good folks there gave us the confidence we needed and we just went for it.  We&#039;re pretty happy with how it turned out.</description>
